Recreational Trail

The recreational trail is designed as a walking and mountain biking trail. No motorized vehicles are allowed. The trail is roughly two-miles and has two loops with a smaller slough in the middle. The trail is cut over land that is naturally reforested.  It has a mixture of pines, sweet gums and oaks as well as deer and other wildlife.

 

The trail is located in the center of the county near the Monroe County Airport on Airport Road.  Just follow the trail signs.  There is a parking lot at the trail head.
